How to a Purchase Used Golf Cart

Most golf courses will not allow you to use your own cart while playing a round. That shouldn't stop you from purchasing one of these vehicles. Owning a golf cart can be a lot of fun for friends and family. Many people even use these vehicles as a way to teach their kids how to drive. As with any vehicle, a used golf cart is much cheaper than a new one. Here are a few websites which sell used and refurbished golf carts.

 Instructions
  1. Step 1
Check out the Valley View Golf Carts Web page. Valley View sells both new and used golf carts. Near the bottom of the home page, you will see links for refurbished golf carts. Valley View has more carts available than are listed on the Web page. You can e-mail Valley View for a full catalog of used golf carts at ValleyCarts@comcast.net.
  2. Step 2
Log onto the Golf Carts Inc. website. Once on the home page, click on the “Used Carts” tab on the left side. Scroll through the used golf carts listed. Click the “Shipping Page” link to learn about shipping charges. For specific inquiries, contact Golf Carts Inc. at sales@golfcartsinc.com.
  3. Step 3
Buy a used golf cart from Marblehead Golf Carts. Located in Marblehead, Ohio, this company offers used electric and gas golf carts. Click on the “All Used Carts” found in the left column of the page. From there, browse through the available carts. To place an order or learn more information, contact jgolfcarts@aol.com or call Marblehead Golf Carts at 1-800-898-8806
  4. Step 4
Shop for carts on the Cunningham Golf Car Company website. Choose either the “Used Gas” or “Used Electric” link. Both are found in the “Shop by Product” box in the top left corner of the screen. When you find a golf cart that interests you, click the “Contact Us” link in the bottom tool bar of the page. There, you will see two toll-free phone numbers and two e-mail addresses, as well. You can also scroll down below the map and fill out the electronic form. This will be sent directly to the company.
Tips & Warnings
  • Be prepared to spend a good amount of money. Used golf carts normally start at around $2,000.
  • Call local golf courses in your area. You may get lucky and find a golf cart for much cheaper than the list price.
